Igniting awareness for the iconic PUMA Suede shoe and its new ambassador French rapper Booba.
PUMA is known the world over as a fashion and sports leader – and its Suede shoe design is probably just as famous. To announce the new face of its latest PUMA Suede campaign, French rapper Booba, and raise awareness for the shoe, PUMA turned to TikTok.
PUMA wanted to maximise visibility and so chose to run TikTok’s unmissable TopView solution. A tactical activation, the format delivers short, sharp bursts of high-impact and wide-reaching exposure, amassing huge volumes of video views and impressions.
TopView Ads dominate the screen, delivering a brand safe experience that plays full-screen as soon as a user opens TikTok. Autoplaying with the sound on, there are no distractions and it demands attention. For the creative, PUMA focused on Booba wearing the shoe in a glossy photoshoot, making both the PUMA Suede and its ambassador the heroes of the shot.
The results delivered – the TopView generated over 15 million video views and reached over 5 million users. It also drove a whopping 2.6 million engagements, showing that users enjoyed the ad and interacted with it at scale. Job done.
