Nordisk Film Biografer is Denmark's largest cinema chain, consisting of 23 cinemas across the country. The brand came to TikTok for an exciting campaign in order to expand their reach with a key objective of driving additional conversions to their site. 

Nordisk Film Biografer partnered with Danish digital performance agency, Obsidian Digital, to produce effective and immersive full-screen, native In-Feed Ads. The ads were set up using TikTok Ads Manager. Targeted to Denmark and keeping the audience broad, the platform’s sophisticated algorithm was able to find users likely to place an order on Nordisk Film Biografer's website. 

To keep the audience engaged and the return on ad spend high, new ads were often implemented using new creatives. Nordisk Film Biografer and Obsidian Digital made sure to follow TikTok’s recommended creative best practices, using engaging and humorous short-form videos with music, that showcased the range of films available in their cinemas. A strong CTA then incentivised the TikTok community to click-through to the website and book tickets.

The Nordisk Film Biografer campaign performed extremely well from the get-go. When comparing their performance against other platforms, Nordisk Film Biografer saw that TikTok had a higher CTR, higher engagement and lower CPM and CPC.

Due to the effective control of TikTok Ads Manager, Nordisk Film Biografer saw a 345% ROAS, a cost-per-click of only 0.13€, a cost-per-mile of 1.11€ and an impressive 1.5 million 6-second video views.
