Helping Mercedes-Benz launch their new all-electric SUV with a targeted 18+ campaign.

Mercedes-Benz is one of the world’s leading luxury automotive brands. To help launch their latest model – a 100% electric SUV named the EQA – they came to TikTok for a campaign aimed at generating awareness around the car for the ‘next generation’. 

To spread the message of their latest model as wide as possible, Mercedes-Benz chose to deploy a One Day Max In-Feed Ad. Age-restricted to 18+ and appearing in the fourth position on users’ ‘For You’ feeds, this format offers 100% share of voice for brands – sound-on and full screen – alongside native content from across the platform. 

The ad itself featured 15 seconds of stunning imagery, showing close-ups of the car and its features – all set to a sensuous voiceover and dreamy soundtrack. 

Thanks to TikTok’s age-restriction abilities, Mercedes-Benz were able to target their ideal audience with their campaign, maximising exposure to the user group of their choice.

Running on 13 April 2021, the Mercedes-Benz campaign generated some amazing results. More than 4.4 million impressions were recorded in just one day, with over 45,000 likes demonstrating how strongly the campaign resonated with the Spanish TikTok community.
